Type Families is a personal typeface project inspired by in-depth research into the history & structure of font families. Reinterpreting the idea of "family" by merging archival family photographs with advanced letterform development, blending 2D imagery with tactile, 3D materials. The result is a hybrid type system that explores identity, memory, & form. A stop-motion animation brings the typeface to life, capturing its physical texture & emotional roots through movement.
